Aaron Ramsdale will not like David Raya revelation in Arsenal transfer saga
Aaron Ramsdale might not be best pleased by a suggestion from David Raya's agent that the England stopper was never Arsenal's first-choice. Agent Jaume Munell has claimed his client, a target of the Gunners as well as Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Tottenham and Manchester United, wasn't able to join the club sooner, which led to Ramsdale's £30million arrival. Ramsdale, 25, had two full seasons in goal as Mikel Arteta's men narrowly missed out on Champions League qualification before being involved in a title race with Manchester City last season, getting dropped after Raya joined from Brentford. Munell told AFTV: "Arsenal showed interest for the first time three years ago in 2021. They tried to buy him but Brentford didn’t want to sell him at any price.
